PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a crack from occurring on a barrel curl, and also to improve sealability.
SOLUTION: The cast iron drum D having a barrel curl 3 provided at an opening rim of a barrel 1 is formed, on an upper end surface 3H of the barrel curl 3, with a cut surface 3M inclined to come closer to the barrel 1 toward an external surface 3A side from a side of an internal surface 3C.
