Abstract:
To provide the machining of a cast product with a filler material, buried in an insulating layer, that hardly causes the breakage or lack in a cutting tool and an insulation.
The cast product is equipped with: the insulating layer 1 cast by filling a filler to an epoxy resin; and the filler material 2 buried in the insulating layer 1. The surfaces of the insulating layer 1 and filler material 2 are ground by the cutting tool of a cemented carbide, which has a hardness equal to or harder than that of the quartz being the filler, obtained by mixing and sintering tungsten carbide and cobalt, so as to make a smooth surface 5, while suppressing the breakage of the cutting tool, the lack of the insulating layer, and the like.
