To provide a cast slab cutting device which can be simply provided even at the existing cast slab cutting device, wherein the internal oxidation of a cast slab can be surely prevented by enabling the fine adjustment of a cutting position.
In the cast slab cutting device where a continuously cast slab 1 is pressed so as to collapse an internal defect in the cast slab, thereafter, the cast slab is conveyed by a conveyer 2, the cast slab is stopped onto the conveyer, and further, a cutting torch 11 is moved along cross rails 5, 5 provided at the upper part of the conveyer, thus the cast slab is cut in such a manner that it passes through the pressed part, the cutting torch 11 is supported via a position fine adjustment mechanism 10 by a reciprocating body 8 freely slidably provided to the cross rails 5, 5, the handle 21 of the position fine adjustment mechanism is operated, and the cutting torch is finely moved in the longitudinal direction of the cast slab, thus the cutting position of the cast slab is finely adjusted.
