To achieve stable directive solidification to manufacture a cast wheel for a vehicle having no manufacturing defect, by newly setting a position as a starting point of the directive solidification.

A cast wheel 1 for a vehicle is made from a light alloy by integrally casting a rim part 12, on which a tire 3 is directly installed, and a disk part 11, which is mounted on a hub in the side of a vehicle 5. The rim part 12 is provided with: an outer rim flange 122, whose inner side is supported by the disk part 11 on both side edges in its width direction of a rim base 121; and an inner rim flange 123, whose inner side is not supported, both of which flanges are opposite. Directive solidification advances from an approximate center in the width direction of the rim base 121 as a starting point to both directions of the outer rim flange 122 and the inner rim flange 123, so that the rim part 12 is formed.
