CONSTITUTION: A caster angle adjusting mechanism 12 for sliding a head part 1a in front and in rear directions of a car body 4, thereby freely adjusting the caster angle is provided to the head part 1a of a strut 1,1. An actuator 25 for moving the strut-head part in front and in rear directions of the car body is connected to the slide plate 13 of the sliding mechanism 12. The actuator 25 is driven and controlled by a controller 26 as a control means based on information from various sensors (for example, speed sensor, steering angle sensor, lateral acceleration sensor) 29. In this case, the controller 26 sets the caster angle so that it becomes larger in response to the magnitude of lateral acceleration.
