Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a caster angle controller for an automobile which controls the caster angle of a suspension for the automobile to surely restrain a change in the position of a car body in acceleration and braking for improving riding comfort.
CONSTITUTION: A caster angle adjusting means 7 capable of adjusting the caster angle of a suspension 2 for an automobile, a control means 9 for controlling the operation of the caster angle adjusting means 7 to make a desired caster angle of the caster angle and an accelerative condition detecting means 8 for detecting the accelerative condition of the automobile are provided. The control means 9 is provided with a desired caster angle settin means 9b constituted to set the desired caster angle for restraining the pitching motion of the automobile along with the acceleration when the auto mobile is accelerated according to information from the accelerative condition detecting means 8.
