Abstract:
To provide a caster brake device which can easily attach/detach an operation wire only when required.SOLUTION: A caster brake device comprises: a lock device which causes an oscillation stopper to engage with a lock recess of an annular lock part to perform lock and unlock rotation of a wheel; an operation wire which is connected to the oscillation stopper, and to which an energization force is applied in a lock releasing direction; a lock sphere combined to a terminal of the operation wire; a lock part which is annularly provided on each of opposite faces of a pair of wheels; a lock protrusion which projects to a center side of a ring of the lock part; an oscillation stopper in which a pair of stopper bodies are connected by a cross plate; a lock tongue piece which is fitted in the lock protrusion by oscillation of the oscillation stopper; a torsion spring having a U-shaped part which extends toward the stopper body, and then, bends; and a blockage void which is formed by the torsion spring and the cross plate, and blocks and locks the lock sphere. The operation wire can be detached by releasing blockage and lock of the blockage void.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
