To provide a caster lock mechanism and a folding table actuating the caster lock mechanism in conjunction with the folding operation of a top plate, and ensuring safety in use of the folding table.

The caster lock mechanism comprises a caster shaft 31 which can be fixed to a mounted article 7, a lock pin 24 slidably inserted in the caster shaft 31 and movably energized upward, a housing equipped to the caster shaft 31 so as to swivel, a pair of wheels rotatably journaled to the housing, a plurality of engaging teeth 58 provided on the wheel, and a lock cam 36 rotatably journaled to a side surface of the wheel, disposed so as to engage with the lock pin 24 at one end, and having a locking hook 51 which can be engaged and disengaged to/from the engaging teeth 58. A knock pin 20 capable of being engaged with the lock pin is coupled to one end of a moving shaft 8, and the other end of the moving shaft 8 is linked to a moving member.
