Abstract:
To reduce a space that a caster module uses and improve a degree of integration and thereby provide a caster module and a robot, the weights of which are further reduced.SOLUTION: The invention relates to robot technologies, and in particular, relates to a caster module and a robot. A caster module 20 includes: an omni wheel 22 in which a shaft groove is provided; and an actuator 21 housed in the shaft groove. A housing of the actuator is rotatable to an inner wall of the shaft groove. An output end of the actuator is fixed to the omni wheel. The actuator is used to rotate the omni wheel. With the above configuration, a space that the caster module uses is reduced and a degree of integration is improved, and thus the robot is further reduced in weight.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
