Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively improve a caster's ability to get over an obstacle, without complication of a cater structure.SOLUTION: A caster C includes a wheel 1 and a support member 2 therefor. The support member 2 comprises an extension part 28 that is extended out ahead of a position P where a virtual horizontal line x, passing through a level at which a distance from a lower end 12 of the wheel 1 is set to be about one-fifth of a radius of the wheel 1, and a peripheral surface 13 on the traveling forward side of the caster C of the wheel 1 are brought into contact with each other. A bottom surface of the extension part 28 is an inclined surface 28a having an inclined lower end located in the position P.
