Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide casters with a hand brake, in which a lock operation and an unlock operation of the casters are easy and which can be reduced in size and weight.SOLUTION: The casters with a hand brake include: a plurality of casters 3, 3 having wheels 3f disposed at the bottom part 6b of a suit case 6; a brake operation unit 2 disposed at an upper part of a bag body, and has a brake operation part that can be reciprocally moved by a manual operation between a brake operating position for braking the wheels of a plurality of casters and a brake releasing operation position for releasing the brake and an operation part for moving a plurality of brake wires 5, 5 in the axial direction when moved manually to the brake operation position or the brake releasing operation position by the brake operation part; a plurality of brake units 4, 4 connected to the plurality of brake wires, locking the wheels of casters in response to a movement in the axial direction of the brake wires, or releasing the lock; and a torsion spring to elastically keep the locked state when the wheels are locked.
