To provide a casting apparatus capable of manufacturing a cast product having sound metallurgical structure while quietly pouring molten metal M melted in a melting furnace, into a mold.
The casting apparatus 1 is provided with the melting furnace 15 for melting the metal to make the molten metal M and having a molten metal tapping-off hole 17A for tapping off the molten metal M, and constituted so that the mold for making the cast product by pouring the molten metal M can be arranged at the lower part of the melting furnace 15, wherein a spout 25 which is rotatable in the horizontal direction is provided between the melting furnace 15 and the mold 60, and the spout 25 is constituted so that the molten metal M discharged from the molten metal tapping-off hole is introduced to a free-end part so as to be poured into the mold 60.
