Abstract:
To provide a casting apparatus capable of manufacturing a plurality of Cu-Ga alloy slab while sufficiently suppressing the occurrence of cracking, in the casting apparatus for manufacturing the Cu-Ga alloy slab made of Cu-Ga alloy by melt casting.
A casting apparatus 100 includes a crucible 1, a plurality of molds 2, and a plurality of storage tanks 3. A cooling suppression member 24 is provided to the outer peripheral surface of each mold 2, and a radiant heat transfer prevention member 41 is provided between mutually adjacent molds 2. Then the mold condition Sm and the average mold condition SAV of each mold 2 satisfy a relation of (|SAV-Sm|/SAV)×100≤3.
