Abstract:
To cast a uniform strap by using a servomotor for the drive source of a pump piston.
When the input signal set with the feed pressure and flow of molten lead in advance in response to a casting mold 41 having the aimed size and capacity is inputted to a servomotor 2, the servomotor 2 is driven correspondingly to the set input signal, and its output is transmitted to a pump piston 30 via a ball screw mechanism 4. The molten lead in a chamber 31 is guided into a cavity 47 at the preset feed pressure and flow by the downward drive of the pump piston 30, and a strap is cast by the cast-on-strap(COS) system. The dispersion of the strap weight by the conventional air cylinder drive is prevented from occurring.
