Abstract:
To provide a casting device which can stably cast an ingot which is superior in one direction solidification property.
A mold 2, in which a molten metal 7 is accommodated, is mounted on a cooling plate 8 being formed larger than a mold bottom face 4, and as the mold 2 unmounted portion, an exposed part 8a is formed. Since an average stucco grain diameter ds of the side wall face 3 is formed larger than an average stucco grain diameter db on the bottom face 4, the side wall face 3 comes to have a thermal insulation property. Thereby, the heat releasing of the mold 2 is carried out only from the bottom face 4 side by the cooling plate 8 and, the ingot to be formed becomes good in one direction solidification property.
