Abstract:
To provide a casting apparatus which can shorten a time required for filling molten metal into a cavity.SOLUTION: A casting apparatus 1 reduces a pressure in a casting cavity 42 and a sprue 47 by a pressure reduction mechanism 50 in the state that the sprue 47 is blocked by a center pin 49, and applies a pressurizing force to the molten metal M with a gas by a gas pressure application mechanism, and then, moves the center pin 49 to an open position and maintains the center pin 49 at the open position, and thereafter, advances the center pin 49 to a blocking position, and releases pressurization by the gas pressure application mechanism and pressure reduction by the pressure reduction mechanism in order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
