Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a slag product of high quality at a low cost by a simple processes, which can crystallize the slag while suppressing the growth of bubbles at the time of cooling molten slag of wastes, without further undergoing the steps of crushing, pulverizing, magnetic separation, classification, molding, burning and the like.
SOLUTION: In casting equipment for molten slag of wastes having a tundish 1 for storing slag S tapped from a molten furnace and a dye 2 for cooling and hardening slag S teemed from the tundish 1, the dye 2 comprises an annealing section 5, an air-cooling section 8 and a quenching section 7 formed therein, and the equipment comprises a pressing machine 9 for pressing the slag S in the dye 2.
