A metallic mold 10 is formed by integrally inserting a pipe 14 with a metallic mold material 16 as cast-in in the condition of facing a cooling part 14a of the pipe 14 bending-formed as U-shape to the inner part approaching the mold surface 12 in the metallic mold 10. This pipe 14 is integrally inserted as cast-in at the time of casting the metallic mold 10. Further, the opening end parts of an inlet part 14b and an outlet part 14c communicated with the cooling part 14a of the pipe 14 are extended to the back surface side of the metallic mold 10 at both parts and opened to the outer part of the metallic mold and the through-hole of the pipe 14 is constituted so as to function as the cooling hole for coolant.
