To provide a casting method and a casting apparatus for a casting with an attaching hole formed by which, on forming the attaching hole by die casting, a part of a tapered face as the inner circumferential face of the casting defining the attaching hole can be provided with a rib having a projecting edge with a shape as if free of a drawing taper integrally with the tapered face.
A groove 110b is formed on the core 110 of a casting apparatus for a casting with an attaching hole tapered by 1°30' formed. The bottom face 1110c of the groove 110b is parallel to the central axis 110H of the core 110. Further, the casting apparatus is provided with a core moving means. After molten metal is filled into a cavity and is solidified by die casting, the core moving means draws the core 110 to a direction tilted by about 1° to the central axis 110H before mold opening is performed.
