Abstract:
To prevent the occurrence of casting defect by promoting the solidification of the molten metal almost uniformly over a whole and also to improve the cycle time of a casting by accelerating the solidification of the whole molten metal.
In this casting method of a cast product having a hollow part formed by a metallic mold 10 and a sand core 14 set in the inner part thereof, the molten metal 18 is poured into a cavity 12 in the state that a metal-made network member 16 is provided on the surface of the sand core 14 opposed to the cavity 12 in the metallic mold 10.
