PURPOSE: To provide a casting mold which is of low cost, can be delivered within a short period and is light in weight and free from pinholes, and a manufacture thereof.

CONSTITUTION: A mold main body 3 molded by press-molding an SUS 304 plate material is welded to a frame material 5 by using a steel pipes 4a, 4b and 4c and thereby a male half 1 is constructed. A mold main body 7 molded by press molding likewise is welded to a frame material 9 by using steel pipes 8a and 8b and thereby a female half 2 is constructed. The mold main bodies 3 and 7 are press-molded by press tools cut out from blocks of zinc alloy. Pipes for temperature regulation are provided on the rear sides of the mold main bodies 3 and 7 respectively. A mold for a bathtub is constructed of the male half 1 and the female half 2.
