Abstract:

To provide a casting mold which prevents a surface defect or shrinkage cavity.

The invented casting mold is equipped with a retainer 12 and a wire 13 to close a shutter 11 mounted on the bottom of a horizontal runner 5. The casting mold is also equipped with a retainer 16 and a wire 17 to close a shutter 15 mounted on the bottom of a gate 8.
