Abstract:
To provide a member for insert casting in which, in the different two regions of an insert-cast member, the characteristics such as adhesion and thermal conductivity can be largely changed at easy, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a member 11 for insert casting, on the face to be insert-cast, including: a high projection region 3a having a mesh-like projection part 3 and a flat face 6 and in which the height of the projection part is relatively high; and a low projection part region 3b in which its height is relatively low. In the member 11 for insert casting, the face to be made to flown with the molten metal in a mold for the member for insert casting is provided with at least two regions having different heights, as a coating layer formed on the face, the region in which thickness is relatively high and the region in which the thickness is low are provided, by the drying of the coating layer, in the thick region, relatively, the width of a crack is made high and its deepness is made deep, and, in the thin region, relatively, the width of a crack is made low and its deepness is made low, thus the high projection part region 3a and the low projection part region 3b can be formed by the above two kinds of cracks.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
