Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold a high quality workpiece by early detecting casting failure of a cast, reduction in core sand dropping capacity (a sand residue) and dam cutting failure, particularly when manufacturing an aluminum cast (workpiece).SOLUTION: A cast (workpiece) 2 cast by a casting machine 1 is transferred to a cooling device 3 first of all, and the cast (workpiece) 2 is cooled, and next, is transferred to a sand fall device 4, and cast sand stuck to the cast (workpiece) 2 is removed, and is also transferred to a dam cutting device 5, and a dam stuck to the cast (workpiece) 2 is cut and removed, and the cast (workpiece) 2 is transferred to a raw material weight measuring device 7 just after it, and raw material weight of the cast (workpiece) 2 is measured, and when the raw material weight is within a specified weight range, the cast (workpiece) 2 proceeds to a postprocessing process 8 as a nondefective, and when the weight is outside of the specified weight range, the cast (workpiece) 2 is grasped as a defective on the defective content by an inspection and an investigation.
