In the casting production device 1, an aluminum-containing alloy is melted to obtain a molten metal, and the obtained molten metal is cast to produce a casting. The casting production device 1 is provided with: a melting means 7 for melting the aluminum-containing alloy; a casting means 20 for casting the obtained molten metal and obtaining a casting 16; and a heat treating means 21 for heat treating the obtained casting 16. The melting means 7 mixes two primary molten metals 11, 12 stored at prescribed temperatures, respectively, so as to obtain a secondary molten metal 13 suitable for casting.
