Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a casting system, which recovers aluminum pieces and iron pieces contained in dropped sand from a casting after casting and recycling these.
CONSTITUTION: The sand dropped from a shake-out machine 1 is discharged through a belt converyor 2, hopper 61 and electromagnetic feeder 62 and supplied into a vibrating sieve conveyor 3 and an undersize is transferred to the casting place by a belt conveyor 5 and utilized as the molding sand of good quality. Further, an over size is supplied into a metal piece separating device 4 and in there, the aluminum pieces, iron pieces and sand balls in the sand, are separated.
