To provide a catalyst where organic compounds are smoothly oxidized under mild conditions even when it is an oxidation reaction under no solvent or in a non polar reaction to obtain the target oxidized product with high yields and which is difficult to decompose under oxidized conditions and can be recycled efficiently.
The catalyst is characterized by containing a skeleton as a constitutional element represented by formula (I) wherein X denotes oxygen atom or -OR group (R denotes hydrogen atom or a protective group of hydroxyl group) and being composed by the nitrogen atom containing cyclic compound having at least one fluorinated substitution group or fluorinated non-aromatic ring in a molecule. The fluorinated substitution group includes a group selected from a fluorinated alkyl group, a fluorinated cycloalkyl group, a fluorinated alkoxy group, an oxycarbonyl group substituted with a fluorine atom containing group, a fluorinated acyl group and a fluorinated acyloxy group.
