Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a catalyst which can obtain improved selectivity of intermediate fractions and is used for the hydrogenation conversion of a heavy petroleum charging raw material by using a composition containing one matrix, one faujasite type zeolite, and one TON type zeolite.
SOLUTION: In a hydrogenation conversion method for a heavy petroleum charging raw material, a catalyst used for hydrogenation decomposition contains a specified composition and one hydrogenation element, and as the specified composition, a composition containing one TON type zeolite selected from a group consisting of one matrix, one faujasite type zeolite, zeolite THETA-1, zeolite NU-10, zeolite KZ-2, etc., is used. A compound selected from a group consisting of alumina, silica, magnesium oxide, titanium oxide, aluminum phosphate, titanium phosphate, etc., and two mixtures of these compounds is used for the matrix.
