Abstract:
To provide a catalyst for decomposing hydrogen peroxide which requires low treatment cost and does not require any chemical or enzyme, a storage method thereof, and a method for decomposing hydrogen peroxide.
The catalyst for decomposing hydrogen peroxide comprises a catalyst electrode 3 which has undergone an electrolysis step, wherein the electrolysis step is carried out by: dipping the catalyst electrode 3 having a surface made of platinum etc. and a counter electrode 4 into an electrolyte solution 2; and applying an electric current to the catalyst electrode 3 and the counter electrode 4 serving as a cathode and an anode, respectively.
