Title:
CATALYST FOR FLUIDIZED CATALYTIC CRACKING OF HYDROCARBON AND METHOD FOR CATALYTIC CRACKING USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002119861
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a catalyst for fluidized catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon which has high cracking activity, maintains high yield of intermediate distillate, generates small amount of coke, has high cracking activity of heavy distillate and further has excellent performance in reducing SOx amount in an exhaust gas from a FCC device and to provide a method for catalytic cracking using the same when heavy hydrocarbon oil containing sulfur compounds is subjected to catalytic cracking in the FCC device.

The catalyst for fluidized catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon contains crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite, alumina derived from pseudo- boehmite and alumina derived from gibbsite and is distinguished by that weight ratio of alumina derived from pseudo-boehmite (A)/alumina derived from gibbsite (B) is within the range of 0.25 to 4. Further the method for catalytic cracking using the same is provided.
