Abstract:

To provide a solid polymer fuel cell in which platinum usage is reduced or in which platinum is not used substantially.

This is a catalyst layer for a catalyst layer-electrolyte film laminate in which the catalyst layers are laminated in an anion conductive polymer electrolyte film, and the catalyst layer-electrolyte film laminate for the fuel cell in which between the catalyst layer and the anion conductive polymer electrolyte film, a liquid/gas transmissive layer is formed. The catalyst layers contain a catalyst and an anion conductive polymer electrolyte, and the catalyst contains at least one kind of catalyst metal particulates selected from a group of iron, cobalt, nickel, palladium, and silver.
