Abstract:
To obtain an inexpensively manufacturable catalyst in which a catalyst layer has excellent adhesiveness though it is formed on an aluminum-containing metal.
The catalyst includes an aluminum-containing metal carrier, an adhesive layer formed on the metal carrier, an adhesive layer containing crystalline silicate and silica formed thereon, and a catalyst layer formed on the latter adhesive layer. The crystalline silicate is preferably one or more selected from the group consisting of MFI type zeolite, mordenite and β-zeolite.
