Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst of a new kind converting a 9 or more C heavy aromatic compd. to a light aromatic compd. and still more increased in activity forming BTX and stability.
SOLUTION: This catalyst is constituted of a carrier consisting of 30-70wt.% of zeolite and 30-70wt.% of γ- or η-Al2O3 and 0.1-0.5wt.% of Re, 0.1-0.5wt.% of Sn and 0.05-0.3wt.% of Pt or 0.2-0.8wt.% of Pd supported on the carrier based on the wt. of the carrier.
