Abstract:
To provide a catalyst for polycondensation reaction without possible discoloration of a resulting reaction product, with high activity, good preservability and easy handleability.
This catalyst comprises a compound containing at least one metal selected from the group 4 of the periodic table and a compound having a structure represented by anyone of following general formula (1): NR'2{R1(OH)3}, formula (2): NR''{R1(OH)2}{R2(OH)}, formula(3): N(R1OH)(R2OH)(R3OH) (wherein R1, R2 and R3 represent each independently a saturated or an unsaturated divalent hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent, and R7'and R'' represent each independently hydrogen or a saturated or an unsaturated monovalent hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent).
