Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a catalyst which can maintain a capacity of a long service life for removing nitrogen oxides in combustion exhaust gas.
SOLUTION: A catalyst for removing nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas by catalytic reduction by adding ammonia into the exhaust gas is formed from two layer structure in which a lower layer is a molding comprising a component having a denitration function, and a granular component which has particle size distribution having two peaks between 0.1 and 50μm is coated on the upper layer.
