Abstract:
To provide a catalyst for synthesizing butanol from ethanol at a high selectivity.
The catalyst for synthesizing butanol from ethanol contains strontium phosphate apatite having a Sr/P atomic ratio of 1.5 to 2.0. The method for synthesizing butanol includes a step for bringing ethanol into contact with the catalyst.
