Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide catalysts and methods for polymer synthesis.SOLUTION: The present invention provides oligomeric metal complexes having two or more metal centers and methods of using such complexes. The provided metal complexes are useful in the copolymerization of carbon dioxide and epoxides. The present invention provides, among other things, metal complexes having two or more metal centers and comprising a tethered activating moiety. The present invention also provides methods of using such complexes. In some embodiments, provided metal complexes have activity in the copolymerization of carbon dioxide and epoxides.SELECTED DRAWING: None
