A method of determining presence of a catalytic anti-factor VIII allo-antibody that can decompose a factor VIII and a method of specifying the position at which the catalytic anti-factor VIII allo-antibody severs the molecule of the factor VIII in mammals are provided. Further, an anti-factor VIII allo-antibody inhibitor catalyzing factor VIII decomposition; a medicinal composition containing the catalytic anti-factor VIII allo-antibody that is generated in the above determination method and can decompose the factor VIII; a medicinal composition containing the anti-factor VIII allo-antibody inhibitor catalyzing factor VIII decomposition and the method of applying the medicinal composition containing the anti-factor VIII allo-antibody inhibitor catalyzing factor VIII decomposition to medical treatment are provided.
