Title:
CATALYTIC CERAMICS FOR LIQUID FUEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04145944
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a catalyst for perfect combustion of liq. fuel by mixing a base material obtd. by crushing and calcining plural kinds of minerals of earth metals with a base material obtd. by crushing, refining and calcining plural kinds of transition metal oxides in a specified ratio, calcining and magnetizing the mixture.

CONSTITUTION: Two or more kinds of minerals of earth metals such as aluminum oxide and quartz are blended, crushed, dried and calcined in oxidation at 950-1350°C to obtain a base material (A). Two or more kinds of transition metal oxides such as cobalt oxide and nickel oxide are blended, crushed, refined with an aq. soln. of pH7-8, dried and calcined in oxidation at 1000-1200°C to obtain a base material (B). A mixture of 50-70% of the base material A with 30-50% of the base material B is molded, dried calcined in oxidation at 950-1300°C and magnetized. The resulting ceramics radiating far IR and magnetic force activates the ionization of liq. fuel and enables perfect combustion.
