Title:
CATALYTIC CONVERSION OF ORGANIC COMPOUND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP05271116
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a conversion process of organic compounds with markedly increased process efficiency by using, as a catalyst or as a catalyst component, galloalumino-silicate whose activity deterioration is reduced even when it is brought into contact with steam at elevated temperature during the reaction or on the catalyst regeneration, thus sufficiently suppress the deterioration in catalyst activity and functions caused by contact of the catalyst with steam.

CONSTITUTION: In the catalytic conversion process for organic compounds including the stage where the catalyst contacts with steam, a catalyst containing MFI type galloaluminosilicate is used, which the molar ratio of SiO2/(Al2O3 + Ga2O3) is 20 to 200, the molar ratio of SiO2/Ga2O3 is over 50, and the ratio (ISiOH/IH+) in 1H-NMR is 0 to 0.5, when the catalyst is ion-exchanged into the H type.
