Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isothermal reaction apparatus of which the size can be allowed to be smaller than that of a conventional isothermal reaction apparatus.SOLUTION: The present invention is a catalytic reaction apparatus A that generates a target gas from a source gas by using a catalyst 1b. The catalytic reaction apparatus A includes: a reaction flow passage Rg in which the catalyst 1b is disposed, and through which the source gas flows; a medium flow passage Rm which is disposed around the reaction flow passage Rg, and through which a temperature control medium for setting the ambient temperature of the catalyst 1b at isothermal atmosphere flows; and a medium supply apparatus 2 which supplies the temperature control medium to the medium flow passage Rm. The medium flow passage Rm is divided into plural sectioned flow passages R1 to R6, and the medium supply apparatus 2 supplies the temperature control medium to the plural sectioned flow passages R1 to R6 individually.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
