Abstract:

To provide a cataplasm product, in which deactivation and discoloring by oxidation of an ascorbic acid derivative (ascorbate or its salt) is prevented, excellent in adhesiveness to teeth, etc., and excellent in tooth bleaching effect.

The cataplasm product for oral cavity comprises a paste composition containing (A) one or more kinds of compounds selected from an ascorbate and its salt, (B) a gelling agent, (C) water and/or organic solvent having 0-7,000 kPa vapor pressure (at 25°C) in an amount of 30.0-99.0 mass% in the whole composition and (D) an alkali agent, and having a pH of 8.0-9.5 and a support for attaching the paste composition to at least one part selected from teeth, oral mucosa and gums.
