Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a catheter for alimentary canal by which the labor of the operator can be saved, and can relieve a patient of pains drastically.
CONSTITUTION: By combining a flexible introduction tube 2 which has a hardness of Shore 50A or higher, and a mandrin 4 that is a wire rope, at least one part of which has a double twisted structure or overlapping twisted structure, a catheter for alimentary canal, which has an appropriate stiffness and elasticity, and of which the insertion is easy, and in addition, the removal or reinsertion of which can easily be performed even when the mandrin after indwelling has, e.g. a circular loop, etc.
