Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an overall structure, guide a guide wire smoothly and facilitate manufacture and operation, by providing a pipeline that guides a guide wire by a pipeline of independent tubular members in a pipeline having a tubular base and fixing the end on the hand side to a hole on a circumferential wall. SOLUTION: A circumferential wall hole 13 is arranged near an operating member at an end on the hand side of a catheter, that is, a balloon member 8, and a pipeline 16 that guides a guide wire 11 is, therefore, extended past the end of the catheter. The pipeline 16 to guide the guide wire 11 is formed inside a double pipeline member 15, and the other pipeline 17 formed in the double pipeline member 15 is connected continuously to the pipeline of the internal tubular member 4 of a tubular base. And when a pressure medium is flown to a balloon member 7 through a clearance between the double pipeline member 15 and the external tubular member 3 and an opening 18 formed on the circumferential wall of the double tubular member 15, an occluded portion of a blood vessel 19 is expanded.
