To provide a catheter which can accurately adjust projection of a needle on its tip.
The catheter comprises a sheath part 20 with a lumen to dilate inside, a tip part 32 which is set slidably to the lumen in the sheath part 20 and can project from an apex part 22 of the sheath part 20, a threading member 30 having a base part to which a liquid composition is supplied and a lumen which dilates inside from the base part to the tip part 32 and the liquid composition is introduced into, a needle 33 set on the tip part 32 of the threading member 30 and connected to the lumen in the threading member 30, and an adjusting mechanism for adjusting the projection of the needle 33 from the end part 22 of the sheath part 20. The adjusting mechanism has a stopping mechanism set in the lumen in the apex part 22 of the sheath part 20 to stop moving of the tip part 32 of the threading member 30 at a predetermined position, and an operation part 40 at hand having a changing mechanism to change the predetermined position and a driving mechanism to move the threading member 30 in a longitudinal direction to the sheath part 20.
