PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter in which an insertion operation to insert a catheter into a living body can be conducted easily.SOLUTION: A catheter 1 includes: a tubular catheter body 2 having flexibility; a hub 3 fixed at the base end part of the catheter body 2; and a holding member 4 detachably attached to the hub 3, which exhibits kink resistance against the catheter body 2 in the attached state, moves along a longitudinal direction of the catheter body 2 in a separated state separated from the hub 3, and can hold the middle in a longitudinal direction of the catheter body 2 at the movement destination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
