Title:
Cathode active material material, a cathode, and a battery
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6187706
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
Provided is a negative electrode active material having excellent charge-discharge capacity and cycle characteristics. The negative electrode active material (100) is provided with specific particles (110) and a binding section (120). The specific particles (110) include a plurality of charge-discharge phases, a restraining phase, and a plurality of ceramic particles. The charge-discharge phases have an average grain size of 10-200 nm and include at least one substance selected from the group consisting of Si, Sn, and Zn. The restraining phase is an intermetallic compound or a solid solution compound comprising an element that is included in the charge-discharge phases and one or more elements selected from the group consisting of group 2 elements, transition elements, group 12 elements, group 13 elements, and group 14 elements (excluding the elements of the charge-discharge phases and C). The charge-discharge phases are dispersed within the restraining phase. The ceramic particles are dispersed at least within the charge-discharge phases and have an average particle size of 0.01-0.1 µm. The content of the ceramic particles is 1-10 mass% with respect to the total mass of the specific particles (110).
