Abstract:

To provide a cathode active material for a lithium-ion secondary battery, enabling the effective improvement of the cycle characteristics of the lithium-ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: The cathode active material for a lithium-ion secondary battery is formed by covering the surfaces of particles A with particles B. Each of the particles A is represented by the following formula (a) LiM1aMnbO4 ... (a), and each of the particles B is represented by the following formula (b) LifMngFehM2xPO4 ...
