Title:
CATHODE-RAY TUBE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59165345
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve magnetizing efficiency by setting up a magnetic field generating member with the mounting part fixed on the outer periphery of a cathode-ray tube and the magnetic field generating part magnetized through its gap provided toward the cathode-ray tube outer periphery.

CONSTITUTION: A magnetic field generating member consists of a mounting part 8a having the inner diameter about the same as the outer diameter of the neck part 1a and the magnetic field generating part 8b which is a tubular part formed with its gap toward the outer periphery of the neck part 1a. When magnetizing, the plate part 10a of the magnetizing head 10 is inserted into a gap between the magnetic field generating part 8b and the neck part 1a to be held therein. Next, while pressing the tip part 10b against the magnetic field generating part 8b for rotating it at a pitch of an equally divided 200th by a pulse motor or the like, a current is made to flow through a coil, while following said rotation, in order to magnetize successively patterns required for correction. In this way, the magnetic flux generating direction of the magnetic head 10 can be made to accord with an axis, easy for magnetization, of the magnetic field generating part 8b, thus making it possible to magnetize efficiently.
