Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the discrimination of a faulty point and to shorten the time required for repairs, by providing a switch to the cathode of a cathode-ray tube to supply the voltage lower than the cutoff voltage of the cathode.
CONSTITUTION: A switch 7 is provided to each cathode 5 of a cathode-ray tube 4 to supply a voltage lower than the cutoff voltage of the cathode 5. Then the switch 7 is closed if the screen of the tube 4 is not bright. Thus the decision is facilitated for a fault of a video signal circuit or other faults.
